Review of Villa Santa Barbara in Montefalco

The room was updated and spotless, featuring a cozy fireplace and air conditioning. the staff was incredibly courteous, from the owner to the chambermaid. the location is amazing and absolutely perfect. the restaurant serves fantastic dinner options.

Everything was brand-new, perfectly fine staff, fabulous views of the surrounding hills. Really enjoyed our classic king room with elegant furniture. The services were top-notch, offered us strong free Wi-Fi. Location: the hotel was really close to a stunningly beautiful rose garden, and vineyards. Great to be 400 metres away from Pret a Manger, enjoyed our meal there.

First-rate service and an outdoor restaurant onsite. Unbeatable location in a beautiful area near to the autostrada...

This place has a bright and quiet unit with charming vine-painted walls and a comfortable bed.

We enjoyed a lot staying in this hotel. Old mansion was renovated and Its interior is beautiful. The surrounding is nice and peaceful. Its breakfast is one of the best in Italy.

Villa Zuccari is extremely elegant and classic. It has the most beautiful swimming pool surrounded by gorgeous rose gardens with formal fountains, statues and lovely views. A lavish breakfast with homemade breads is served on a covered terrace.

They provided a breakfast with fresh fruit and meats and our room was spacious; the location was central for day trips to Florence in Tuscany and was in a serene valley area.

The hotel is wonderful, in a beautiful location with helpful courteous staff. The restaurant was excellent with freshly prepared home made pasta. All in all, a pleasurable experience. I plan to return with my wife in the summer to take a break.

Beautiful, newer building built in classic style. Nice grounds. Nice location in the country but close to Montefalco and other small towns.

We upgraded our classic room for a room that was a bit fancier, but more importantly, had a perfect view of the Umbrian countryside. Nice folks and beautiful place. Andrea, their concierge, is Four Seasons caliber. He is attentive, happy to help, and knows everything about the local area.

I had a wonderful stay during my visit to Villa Santa Barbara. the deluxe king room was fantastic, and I truly appreciated the luxurious bathroom. the location is beautiful and peaceful, making it an ideal spot to relax. Hounslow Urban Farm was just 5 km away, which was great for exploring. the outdoor restaurant was lovely, and the staff was exceptionally courteous.

Upon arrival a member of the staff gave us a tour of the facilities and then showed us our rooms while making sure they were acceptable. The staff was good about giving us directions and recommending places to eat, The Villa was spacious with enormous rooms. The bathroom had both a large tub and a shower. There is a very large pool that can be used during the warmer months. The setting is very peaceful.

We were disappointed in the food in the restaurant. Although it was acceptable we expected more given the beautiful setting. The service was very good.

Perfect location for exploring Umbria, beautiful villa, great pool and gardens full of roses, lavender and rosemary.Very hepful anf friendly staff and family owners with excellent service. Good choice of local dishes to eat for breakfast and dinner.. Highly recommended

The location is great, situated in a fairly quiet area and the restaurant is elegant with exquisite dishes for dinner.

Our stay at the Villa was top-notch in all respects: The staff was professonal, gracious and helpful; the room and grounds were relaxing and beautiful; the meals (both the food and the settings) were wonderful. We felt the Villa offered a very good value for the money. In fact, while the main intent of our vacation was to visit Tuscany, we came back to Umbria (and the Villa) on our return to Rome because of our positive experience.
